NetApp Storage Array

netapp_f840_big.jpg We are presently working to install NetApp filers and disk shelves into our infrastructure. The equipment will include:

  • A FAS270 dual-head filer with onboard storage
  • Two F840 filers
  • Six FC9 disk shelves with 36GB and 72GB 15k RPM drives.

This equipment will support the storage technology course taught here at NC State, as well as storage-related research.
